Prior to joining Willow Tree, Mr. Kagan was a Senior Associate in the Direct Lending group at Golub Capital. At Golub Capital, Mr. Kagan executed debt and equity investments in middle market companies across a diverse range of industries. Prior to joining the Direct Lending group, Mr. Kagan spent two years in Golub Capital’s Corporate Strategy group, where he executed strategic projects for the firm. Previously, he was an investment banking analyst at Wells Fargo Securities. Mr. Kagan holds a B.A., cum laude, in Business Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
